Here’s the thing; if you’ve seen the BBC TV show (and millions have) from which our mighty magazine takes its editorial tone, you’ll know what Top Gear is all about.

Top Gear New Zealand magazine isn’t your average car magazine with average stats boxes and average waffle about kerb weights. Well okay, we do give our fantastically loyal readership all the pertinent technical details on the coolest cars around. But we do so in an irreverent, unorthodox and completely entertaining way.

You see, cars are emotive things. And we fervently believe that a magazine about cars should be emotive too. Over the past four years Top Gear New Zealand has successfully sprinted into the local car magazine sector, proving that there’s a unique audience for our blend of great writing, stunning photography, inventive story ideas and cool gadgetry.
